Are you a registered travel company? Yes, we comply fully with the State of Washington’s “Seller of Travel Law” and are registered with the Washington State Department of Licensing Sellers of Travel Program.

Are only breast cancer survivors welcomed to attend wellness spa retreats and group trips? No. We serve women touched by any cancer diagnosis.

Can I attend a wellness spa retreat or group trip while I am still in treatment? We request that you be out of “active” treatment before registering, unless you are on an intermediate or long-term treatment plan with oral medication.

Will all participants be cancer survivors? No. While we expect the vast number of participants to be cancer survivors or co-survivors, we welcome supporters too.

Are men welcomed? Many women traveling with us for group trips will want to be accompanied by loved ones and friends from either gender. Our guests are welcome to invite whoever will make their trip memorable and fun. However, our wellness spa retreats are specifically designed for women, so please take this into consideration when deciding whom to invite.

Are wellness spa retreat itineraries structured? Our wellness spa retreats provide a balanced itinerary for you to attend enrichment and experiential learning sessions, indulge in pampering treatments, and have time alone to relax, read, journal, meditate, or explore local sites. You can participate in as much or as little of our planned activities as you would like.

Can I bring pets? No, pets cannot be accommodated on our trips.

What types of trips do you offer? Our trips include restorative spa retreats; fitness adventures which include biking, hiking, walking, and kayaking; culinary and culture pursuits including hands-on cooking instruction, cooking demonstrations, walking restaurant tours and tastings, and visits to culturally relevant sites; art and dancing retreats for all levels of artistic ability; and getaways catering to the thrill of shopping and bargain hunting.

Where do your trips go? Our trips will take you to beautiful and exciting destinations throughout the United States, Canada, The Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. We hope to add African destination in the future. Stay tuned!

How long are your trips? From 4 to 14 days.

Do trips accommodate people in wheelchairs or with other special medical needs? With advance notice we will do everything we can to accommodate guests requiring wheelchair assistance or other special medical needs. If we cannot accommodate you we will advise you early on in the planning stage.

Are meals included? Can they be customized? Information regarding meals is disclosed in each trip itinerary. If a guest has a special dietary requirement we will make arrangements to accommodate the request.

Do you arrange for rental cars? Our travel desk can make car rental and/or other transfer arrangements for you if you would like.

Can I get a private room? Are all rooms double-occupancy? We quote trip price based on double-occupancy. However, each trip itinerary does provide a private room option with a single supplement charge.

What is the maximum capacity allowed to attend? Most of our group trips are limited to 30 guests; depending on the trip.  Wellness Spa Retreats have no limit (based on available accommodations.)

Your spa retreat and group trip programs are for land only. Who can book my air travel? Our guests have the option to book their own air travel, or we can book it for you. We can also book arrangements for pre or post stay at the destination. At the time you book your getaway we can help you with every detail of your travel arrangements.

Do you repeat the wellness spa retreats at the same properties every year? No. You can select from uniquely different and exquisite spa locations each year.

Do you offer payment plans? Yes. You can make three equal payments toward your trip. If we book your air travel that payment will need to be made in full at time of booking. Talk to us about our payment plan when you contact us about your trip.

If I need to cancel my reservation unexpectedly will I get a refund? Refunds on the air portion will be given in accordance to the airline carriers refund policy at the time of booking. There are occasions when our vendors require us to pay non-refundable deposits which travelers will be responsible for in the event of cancellation. We will always alert you of these fees at time of booking. Our refund policy for retreats, land packages, or tours is as follows:

Days prior to trip

121 +          100% of funds on deposit are refundable

91 – 120      60% of funds on deposit are refundable

60 – 90        30% of funds on deposit are refundable

0 – 59          No refund

 

How do you work and coordinate with large groups? We require one person from the group to be our primary contact. The primary contact will be responsible for overall communication to the group, and ensuring that all deposits and final payments for their group members are received by the payment deadline(s).

Do you recommend trip cancellation insurance? We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to safeguard you against a last-minute and unexpected cancellation. We can advise you of travel insurance policy provisions and rates at time of booking.

What is the average age of participants? We generally draw interest from women between the ages of 34 – 58 years of age. Although we have been very honored to host guests as young as 27 years old and 67 years old.
