Cup of Hope Offers
Encouragement and Community
Cup of Hope is a program that provides tea cup gift baskets to women newly diagnosed with cancer. We created the program as an uplifting gesture, that is, being able to give something pretty and tangible at the beginning of a difficult journey.
Each gift basket contains:
- A fine china tea cup and saucer
- A tin of premium tea
- A journal
- A tube of hand cream
- A card with a message of encouragement
Anyone can donate
We’re looking for donations of vintage, bone/fine china tea cups and saucers (we don’t accept ceramic ware, fiesta ware or plastic items), and are asking our members and supporters to dust off that beautiful cup of your grandmother's stashed away in the back of the cupboard, or keep your eyes open as you browse in vintage shops and flea markets.
Gift baskets will be provided to any interested hospital, oncology clinic or cancer support group who contacts us. We will also rely on our club members, supporters and community partners for recommendations on where to deliver baskets. Our goal is to fulfill as many requests for baskets as possible.

Cruise for a Cause
In addition to the tea cup gift baskets, Travel Toward Wellness hosts cruises to benefit Cup of Hope. Join us on our Panama Canal cruise September 2012 aboard the Celebrity Infinity.
